About the event
Join us in the cocoon of SLC Valentine Road for an afternoon of expanded states of consciousness. Our resident moon witch Tree Carr and Liba Lightbath founder Joel Grichting will guide you through an immersive and psychedelic journey into the qualia of your consciousness through ligh twave technology and plant consciousness. But... what is qualia? Qualia is a fancy word for all the things you experience through your senses and feelings. It's what you see, hear, smell, touch and taste, as well as your thoughts and emotions. Qualia is so interesting because it's how we experience the world and our emotions through our senses and thoughts, and it is unique to each person. It can't be fully described or explained to others. Understanding qualia can help us understand how the brain and body work together to create our experiences and how to improve the experience of different mental states, such as emotions and pain. In this workshop, we will dive into qualia and altered states of consciousness, beginning with a brew of Blue Lotus Flower tea. Blue Lotus was used by ancient Egyptians in religious ceremonies to reach a higher level of consciousness and connect to the Divine. Blue Lotus will give you feelings of calming euphoria, which makes it a natural anti-anxiety and stress reliever. Then, we will lay down for a psychedelic light journey under the Liba Lightbath. The Liba Lightbath is basically Binaural Beats for your eyes. The device uses flashing lights to help your brain relax. The lights flicker at a specific frequency that makes your brainwaves match it. This can help you relax and feel calm, even if you don't have that experience with more traditional forms of meditation. It's a simple way to help your brain and body relax. This will be an afternoon of exploration, learning, and journeying. Space are limited to keep this event intimate and contained, but there's a special discount if you book in as a pair.
